Theatre awards to be presented Aug. 14

Jefferson’s Opera House Theatre Players have announced
the nominees for the Ynot Awards to be presented Thursday, Aug. 14, at the theatre groups Annual Meeting and Ynot Award dinner to be held  this year at the Knightlight Theater on Walnut Street in Jefferson.
Those nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role are: Holly McCoy in “The Cemetery Club,” Fran Hurley in “The Cemetery Club,” Cherry Eldridge in “Mama Won’t Fly,” Crystal Taylor in “Mama Won’t Fly” and Penny Tackett in “Cheaper By The Dozen.” For Best Actor the nominees are Jerry Griffin in “The Cemetery Club” and Patrick Fortune for “Cheaper By The Dozen.”
Nominees for Best Supporting Actress are: Myra Frye in “The Cemetery Club,” Jennifer Robinson in “Mama Won’t Fly.” Penny Tackett in “Mama Won’t Fly,” Angela Martinez in “Mama Won’t Fly,” Tory Dean in “Mama Won’t Fly,” Theresa Barton in “Cheaper By The Dozen,” and Crystal Taylor in” Cheaper By The Dozen.”
