Trucker strikes overpass; loses load

Rush hour traffic was turned into one lane on Highway 11 in Daingerfield when an 18-wheeler lost his cargo after striking the railroad overpass on Highway 11 on Aug. 13.
“James Council,64, of Paris, was driving a 2003 Freightliner eastbound on Highway 11 when his loaded cargo container struck the overpass, knocking it off the trailer,” Daingerfield Police Chief Tracey Climer said.”
