Buildings and infrastructure deteriorate with age

A raise in taxes is something none of us want to face, but in regards to schools, it is a necessary process in preserving the integrity of campuses. Northeast Texas Community College has reached its 30th birthday and things are much different on the campuses than they were 30 years ago. Please let me share with you just a few of the things that are so glaringly in need of addressing. The college is asking for 3.6 cents more on each $100 valuation. For Morris County’s average homeowner, the cost is a mere $1.53 a month.
