Economic Development Board appoints its new secretary

Devon Whatley was appointed as the new secretary/treasurer for the Lone Star Economic Development Board at its Aug. 25 meeting. Mrs. Whatley was also placed as the signatory on the Economic Development Corporation’s bank account and former secretary Ruth Nash was removed.
The board agreed that advertising for the city of Lone Star needed to be done with Liberty Marketing Company. This would include the city of Lone Star on the newest Morris County Map.
