School board approves projects for buildings

Progressive action on construction and maintenance
led the Hughes Springs Independent School board of trustees to approve a bid for painting the new ag/science building and the multi-purpose building. The approval was made at the board’s Sept. 8 meeting. 
“When we did the bids for the buildings, we did pullthe ones for painting out as the numbers were higher,” Superintendent Rick Ogden said.
