Hughes Springs ISD scores perfect in F.I.R.S.T rating

The Hughes Springs Independent School District school board met Oct. 6 where they approved several agenda items and reviewed the districts School Financial Integrity Rating System (FIRST) report. 
The district received a superior achievement rating, scoring a perfect 70 out of 70 possible points.
The state's school financial accountability rating system, FIRST, ensures that Texas public schools are held accountable for the quality of their financial management practices and that they improve those practices.
