Immigration Reform

It seems that wearing a mask and buying a million cases of hand-sanitizer isn't such a bad idea these days. And with all of the talk about Ebola in the news, I don't think it was a bad idea.
But as much as I wanted to talk about Ebola and its scare, my attention was drawn to another subject that I am very passionate about.
I attended a meeting last week with the 1936 Study Club in Avinger. The club's guest speaker happened to be State Representative David Simpson, R-Longview of District 7.
I was inspired by this man who actually cares for the community. He was the mayor of Avinger after all, and he helped to improve the City of Avinger.
As he spoke to the group about what he does as a state representative and all the challenges that come with it, he especially caught my attention when he began speaking about immigration reform.
