Lions Club meets with District Governor Strickland

The Daingerfield Lions Club members welcomed District Governor Jimmy Strickland into their meeting this past Monday to speak to them about the service the Lions Club provides for their community.

" Every club is different," Strickland said. "Its nice to know what each club is doing to help out with their community."

While speaking to the members he discussed what projects other clubs around Texas are working on including Special Olympics, disaster relief and collecting glasses for kids in need of them.
