Mustangs exterminate Hornets 48-34

Too many times a night like last Friday can either vault a team into thinking postseason or start thinking about next year.  Friday was no different, with Hughes Springs showing that they indeed are post-season ready.  With an offense that showed they are a force to be reckoned with, they were able to again pull away late and came home with a 48-34 win.

Traveling to Hooks, the Mustangs knew beforehand the match-up was going to be tough.  Bowie County teams always seem to have home cooking when it comes to the officiating crews, and this game did nothing but solidify that opinion, at least to the Hughes Springs faithful.
