Church on the Rock will be hosting a fall festival Nov. 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for all ages. The festival will include free carnival games and prizes as well as live music by "Redeemed" from Hughes Springs. The location will be at the Church on the Rock youth building at 911 Linda Dr in Daingerfield. 
 
Something Special in Daingerfield invites the public to its annual open house Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., where a wonderful Christmas awaits guests. 
 
First United Methodist Church of Daingerfield will hold its Annual Holiday Bazaar on Nov. 8, in the Activity Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  There will be crafts, baked goods and this year will include antiques.  Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Tickets are available to win a quilt made by Ms.Dollie Scaff.
 
The public is invited to attend the Annual Taste of Marietta Nov. 8 at the MCA building on FM 250 North. Food will be served beginning at 4:30 p.m. for donation only. There will also be cakes, pies and other things for sale. Entertainment will begin from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. For information call 903.835.5021 or 903.824.4272.
All proceeds go to the Marietta Volunteer Fire Department. 
 
The Morris County Beef and Forage Committee along with the Morris County Extension Office will be hosting a Winter Forage program on Nov. 10 at the Morris County Annex. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the program will start at 6 p.m. There will be no registration fee for this program. Dr, Vanessa Corriher Olson, Associate Professor and Extension Forage Specialist will be presenting programs on Winter Forages for East Texas and Let's Plan 2015. These programs will help answer questions on what is new and innovative for the area.
