Mustangs stomp Tigers 47-14

Preparation will win out most weeks, and this week was about that. Along with having an eye on completing the district season undefeated, Hughes Springs rolled last Friday, easing past Linden-Kildare, and beginning preparations for a first round playoff matchup to come.
A lot of people will say, the real season starts now. If that is the case, the Mustangs are ready, dispatching the Tigers easily 47-14.
In the final home game of the year, it was bittersweet for the seniors, but also showed why Hughes Springs is so high on the future of Mustang football. Having a nice mix of senior leadership and youthful contributions, in Hughes Springs, football stock is rising.
