Hughes Springs police searching for door thieves

The Hughes Springs Police Department is searching for suspects who took doors from a 2014 Ford F150 at Dewey Moore Ford. 
According to law enforcement, the theft occurred after 10 p.m. Nov. 13 and was discovered after the dealership opened the morning of Nov. 14. 
"I strongly believe this was done by someone associated with body shop's and these two doors were taken to replace damaged doors on the same model of vehicle," Hughes Springs Police Chief Randy Kennedy said. 
Suspect(s) could face charges of theft of property of  vehicle parts. The amount of the theft is well over $1,500 according to Kennedy, which is a state jail felony.
