Danny Moss, Professor of Speech at Northeast Texas Community College, was recently named Community College Educator of the Year by the Texas Speech Communication Association (TSCA). He received the award during the group's annual conference in Lubbock, Texas Oct. 3.
Moss has taught speech for 26 years, including 16 years at NTCC. He was nominated by fellow speech educators around the state to receive the honor. Each nominee submits a portfolio of work to be considered by the Educator of the Year committee.
"We are very proud of Mr. Moss's accomplishments with TSCA. He is a valued member of our faculty and I find it fitting that he would be honored for his dedication at the state level," Dr. Ron Clinton, NTCC Executive Vice President for Instruction, said.
