Peters-Watson
Funeral services for Daisy Jean Peters-Watson, 84, of Hughes Springs, were held Dec. 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
Mrs. Watson was born on Feb. 28, 1930 and passed away Dec. 5, 2014.
Mirabent
Funeral services for Luis Fernando Mirabent, 67, of Linden, were held Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial followed at the Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Mr. Mirabent was born Aug. 5, 1947 and passed away Dec. 6, 2014.
Williams
James Edward Williams " Lil Fella", age 56, of Cason, formerly of Daingerfield, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Dec. 8, 2014. James was born on Oct. 20, 1958 in Daingerfield,Texas to the late Edward Williams Jr. and Vella Mae Williams.
He married the love of his life and friend, Werda Johnson Williams "Hanky" in 1979. James is survived by his wife and two daughters, Brandice Williams and Candice Williams, of Cason.
He was one of nine siblings, Jeanette Williams Doddy, Robert Dan Williams, Johnny M. Williams, Larry C. Williams, Franke T. Williams Sr., Vickie Lynn Williams, Bobby Joe Williams and Billy Joe Williams.
Funeral services for James Edward Williams were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 13, 2014 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Daingerfield with Minister A. Key Jr. officiating. Burial followed at the Shady Grove Cementary in Cason.
Those who knew James will remember his friendly smile, his love for all and the willingness to help others.
Laird
Funeral services for Michael Wayne Laird, 62, of Leesburg were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 14, 2014 at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel in Daingerfield. Mr. Laird was born on Sept. 3, 1952 and passed away Dec. 10, 2014.
