Neighborhood Market pre-grand opening event slated Jan. 3

A pre-grand opening event for the Walmart Neighborhood Market has been scheduled for Jan. 3.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lone Star Fire Department at 201 W Industrial.
Pharmacist Allan Pavia will be on hand to meet and great the people of Lone Star and the surrounding areas, as well as some other members of the staff.
The Daingerfield Art Club will be in attendance offering face painting and Pepsi will be sampling products.
If anyone would like to donate blood, Carter Blood Care will be available for blood donations.
The Lone Star Police Department and the Lone Star Fire Department will also be at the event speaking to the public about safety.
