Daingerfield starts out hot in district play

The Daingerfield Tiger basketball players started out District 16-3A play on the right track. Daingerfield had good showings against district foes Queen City and Linden- Kildare last week to start out district play hot at 2-0.
In the opening district game Daingerfield traveled to Queen City to play the Bulldogs and came back home with a 63-54 win. Daingerfield led by 10 at the end of the first quarter, but Queen City came back to tighten the score and go in trailing the Tigers 31-30 at the half.
