Mustangs star district games

District season is underway for the Mustangs basketball teams and this past Tuesday the boys took to the hardwood and were host to the Queen City Bulldogs. Points were at a premium for both teams as defenses seemed to clamp down initially. After the first quarter the Bulldogs held a slim three point lead against the Mustangs, but thanks to a fast second quarter, Queen City pulled away and never looked back. After leading at half 27-14, the Bulldogs were in command but did have to fend off a third quarter rally by the Mustangs.
