It’s no secret that alcohol is the most abused substance by teens and has very serious consequences. Research shows that 65% of underage drinkers say they receive their alcohol from friends and family.
To reduce alcohol access in the home, Mission Possible Coalition has launched a community awareness campaign, Not in My House. The campaign is only focused on Morris County residents.
The campaign starts with a quick survey to determine our community’s perception on the problem of underage drinking. At the end of the survey, Morris County residents will be prompted to sign the Not in My House pledge. Those signing the pledge agree to encourage their child(ren) and other youth in the community to be alcohol free and not provide alcohol to minors. Once the pledge is signed, a Not in My House yard sign will be distributed.
