Funeral services for Philander Carlton Peters, 48, of Longview, were held Jan. 24, at First Baptist Church in Hughes Springs. Burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Peters was born Nov. 18, 1966 and he died Jan. 13.

Grave services for Ray Martin, 84, of Marietta, were Jan. 24 at Union Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder- Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Martin was born June 3, 1930 in Saddle, Ark. and passed away Jan. 21 in Texarkana
