Krystal Hosmer completes CASA Training

CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties is pleased to announce that Krystal Hosmer, CASA Advocate Supervisor, shown here with the Honorable Virginia Schnarr (seated), recently completed CASA Training. A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is an official part of the judicial proceedings, working the Department of Family & Protective Services (DFPS) and attorneys. A CASA advocates for the child’s best interests of children removed from their families due to abuse and neglect. The next Advocate Training session will begin on March 2, 2015.
