Eagles dominate Pratt with sweep

From Bee Staff Reports The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles (NTCC) baseball team dominated Pratt Community College this weekend, winning four out of four games.
The highlight of the series was a 12-run shutout  Saturday evening pitched by Tim Winders. Friday’s game was a series of back and forth runs every inning with local pitcher Brandon Colbert from Pittsburg pitching the lion’s share of the game. Colbert racked up eight strikeouts in four-and-a-half innings. The Eagles won Friday’s game 15-9.
Dalton Algiene led the Eagles during Saturday’s first game, with Tanner Buxton picking up two innings. The Eagles took an early lead and picked up two runs in the second and third inning to win the game 5-2. Sunday saw the closest score of the series, with the Eagles winning the game 6-5 in nine innings with a walk off.
