Hughes Springs outduels Chapel Hill

The Hughes Springs boys basketball team notched an even 1-1 record last week. Starting off the week with a great win against the Chapel Hill Red Devils, the Mustangs were primed to finish out the season strong. Austin King led the way with 15 points, while Hunter Smith added 10 points. Jaren Jones poured in a solid 8 points and Shamori Ivory had 7. With a strong 1st quarter, Hughes springs stormed out to a 18-8 lead after 1. But the 2nd quarter was just the opposite with the Red Devils countering 18-8 in the second, tying up the score going into halftime.
