The Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 6:30 pm in the Daingerfield High School Cafeteria, honoring the community and its leaders. The Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce will present the following awards: Community Pride Award, Community Service Award, Citizen of the Year, and Business of the Year. And the nominees are … Community Pride Award:-Nominees: Daingerfield Public Library, Business & Professional Women’s Club, First United Methodist Church of Daingerfield, and Ounce of Prevention. 

Community Service Award:-Nominees: The Next Level- First Pentacostal Church, Piney Woods Civic Center, Daingerfield Police Department Community Service Program, and Daingerfield- Lone Star ISD Employees. Citizen of the Year:-Nominees: Keitha Nilsson, Bret McCoy, Martha Baker, and Travis Miller.
