May 30 and 31

Consecration and Installation Services Shady Grove Baptist Church and Liberty Community Church are hosting Consecration and Installation Services for Dr. Jessie Biles, Sr. The Consecration Service will be held on May 30 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Cason. The Installation Service will be held on May 31 at 3 p.m. at Liberty Community Church in Hughes Springs.

June 3 to 5

Vacation Bible School South Union Baptist Church, located on Hwy 259 South, in Daingerfield will host Vacation Bible School from 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. each day. The theme is “Journey off the Map” and is open to children ages 4 – 5th grade. For more information, please call 903-645-3515.

First Baptist Church Daingerfield will be hosting an Adult Vacation Bible School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Come enjoy Bible study, dinner, crafts and music! No Children Care. All adults are welcome! Contact First Baptist Church at 903-645-2269 for more information.

Vacation Bible School Calvary Baptist Church in Hughes Springs will hold Vacation Bible School from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the American Legion Hall at the corner of Highway 250 and 2612. The Fifth Annual Daingerfield Tiger Football Camp Camp will be held at the game field or practice field and includes the incoming grades: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th. 3rd – 5th grade will be held from 8:00 a.m.-9:15 a.m. 6th – 9th grade will be held from 9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. For more information contact Coach Sardinea at 903-645-3465.

The Hughes Spring public library will host “Cool School with Ms. Maria” at 10:30 a.m. at the library.

June 15 to 18

Daingerfield Tigers Summer Basketball Camp Basketball Camp for boys and girls, ages 8-14, will be held at the High School gym from 8:30 a.m. - 12 noon. Smokey the Bear will visit children at the Hughes Springs library at 10:30 a.m. Parents are encouraged to bring cameras to take pictures.
