Cancer survivor finds purpose in plants

In every community, there is that one person with the perfect yard, the one that people will
drive by just to see. In one area neighborhood, that yard belongs to Bill and Marla Gaines.
Many retired individuals take to gardening in order to stay active and prevent themselves from
becoming sedentary and possibly depressed. Mr. Gaines, a cancer survivor, considers his
