Daingerfield students excel at UIL

Students from eight elementary schools gathered in Mount Vernon on Dec. 3 for the 16-AAA District UIL Meet. The competition was for students in second through fifth grade. Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD formed a team of students from both West and South Elementary Schools. The Daingerfield team finished in second place, scoring 225.5 points overall. The team of Tigers were bested only by Queen City.
