Cub Scouts spread

“A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.” This is the Scout Law, which even the youngest Cub Scouts are taught from the time they enter the Scouting program. Third year Cub Scouts in the Bear Den of Pack 220 recently put several aspects of that law into action.

On Tuesday, Feb. 9, Bear Scouts went to Windsor Place Nursing Home in Daingerfield and passed out Valentines cards they made themselves. The boys went room to room and through the cafeteria, hand delivering the cards. There were 32 total cards that were passed out. The Bear Den is led by Brandi Terry.
