HAGOOD

Funeral services for Betty Lee Hagood, 84 of Daingerfield were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the First Baptist Church in Cason with Kenny Shaver and Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial followed in the Clark Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.

Betty was born on Feb. 22, 1931 in Morris County to William Edward and Alma Lee Clay. She died on Wednesday, Feb. 17, in Jenkins.

Betty was a member of the Lilley’s Chapel Church of Christ and retired from Longhorn Army Ammunition Plant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Oscar Hagood, brothers Charles Edward Clay, Jimmy Fred Clay and sister Ruby Hensley.

Survived by daughters and son-in-law Barbara and Glen Brown of Daingerfield, Patty and Bruce McDaniel of Daingerfield, sons and daughters-in-law Gary and Alice Hagood of Daingerfield, Bruce and Kathy Hagood of Grand Praire, Kevin Hagood of Daingerfield; brothers Earnest Clay of Daingerfield, sister Syble Ann Eames of Mt. Pleasant; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at Nail- HaggardFH.com
