Cass County issues County Court sentences Randal Lee, Criminal District Attorney, recently released the following information on cases disposed of in the County Court at Law for February, 2016. Donald Dowd was the presiding Judge.

Dennis Oliver DOB: 11/24/1971 Bloomburg, TX Offense: Driving while intoxicated 3rd or more. Sentence: 2/18/2016; Fifteen (15) years Institutional Division, TDCJ, with credit for any time served.

David Glenn Johnson DOB: 7/3/1974 Linden, TX Offense: Possession of controlled substance. Sentence: 2/18/2016; Nine (9) months State jail, with credit for time already served.

Kirsten Elise Dunn DOB: 7/21/1982 Garland, TX Offense: Fraud Count 1. Sentence: 2/11/2016; Nine (9) months State jail, with credit for time already served. To run concurrent with count 2. Nash Allen Fuller DOB: 5/13/1975 Grand saline, TX Offense: Possession of controlled substance. Sentence: 2/16/2016; One hundred and ten (110) days county jail, with credit for time already served.

Christopher Tristen Watson DOB: 2/24/1985 Atlanta, TX Offense: Harassment. Sentence: 2/2/2016; Ninety (90) days county jail, with credit for time already served.

Derrick Scott Green DOB: 11/29/1992 New Boston, TX Offense: Assault cause bodily injury family violence. Sentence: 2/2/2016; Ninety (90) days county jail, with credit for time already served.

Shemaiah Thomas Blaylock DOB: 10/30/1991 Atlanta, TX Offense: Theft of Property. Sentence: 2/2/2016; Sixty (60) days county jail, with credit for time already served.

Andrew Henry Blizzard DOB: 8/1/1983 Dekalb, TX Offense: Driving while license invalid. Sentence: 2/2/2016; Forty Five (45) days county jail, with credit for time already served.

Billy Mac Sullivan DOB: 2/18/1959 Doddridge, AR Offense: Criminal Mischief. Sentence: 2/2/2016; Twenty (20) days county jail, with credit for time already served.

Brian Allen Gordon JR DOB: 2/12/1996 Linden, TX Offense: Display fictitious registration. Sentence: 2/2/2016; Two (2) days county jail, with credit for time already served. Pay a fine of $1,500.00 and court cost in the amount of $367.00.

Coleton Dean Wedel DOB: 7/21/1992 Williston, ND Offense: Obstruction of a highway. Sentence: 2/2/2016; Two (2) days county jail, with credit for time already served. Pay a fine of $2,000.00 and court cost in the amount of $277.00.

Reba Rachel Daniel DOB: 8/10/1991 Atlanta, TX Offense: Evading arrest with a motor vehicle. Sentence: 2/16/2016; Ten (10) years Institutional Division, TDCJ, Suspended for Ten (10) Years Community supervision. Pay $329.00 in court costs and a fine of $3,000. Defendant shall perform 240 hours of community service restitution at the rate of 20 hours per month, as directed by the community supervision officer. Defendant must participate in random drug/ alcohol testing through the Cass County Supervision Department. Submit to a substance abuse evaluation and complete any alcohol or drug treatment program as directed by the probation department. Submit to DNA testing as required by law. Defendant shall perform 40 hours of community service restitution at the rate of 20 hours per month, as directed by the community supervision officer. Defendant must participate in random drug/ alcohol testing through Cass County Supervision Department. Offense: Driving While License Invalid. Sentence: 2/16/2016 Three hundred and sixty five (365) days county jail, Suspended for twenty four (24) months Community supervision. Pay $302.00 in court costs and a fine of $1,000.00. Defendant shall perform 40 hours of community service restitution at the rate of 20 hours per month, as directed by the community supervision officer. Defendant must participate in random drug/ alcohol testing through Cass County Supervision Department.

Erica Denise Price DOB: 9/18/1991 Linden, TX Offense: Theft of a Firearm. Sentence: 2/2/2016; Two (2) years State Jail, Suspended for Five (5) Years Community supervision. Pay $379.00 in court costs and a fine of $2,000. Defendant shall perform 150 hours of community service restitution at the rate of 20 hours per month, as directed by the community supervision officer. Defendant shall be evaluated for Cass County Drug Court. If eligible, defendant will enter and successfully complete the Cass County Drug Court and Aftercare program. Participate in random drug/ alcohol testing through Cass County Supervision Department. Shall have a Drug and Alcohol Dependency evaluation performed and pay all cost incurred. Offense: Resist Arrest Search or Transport. Sentence: 2/2/2016 Sixty (60) days county jail, with credit for time already served.

William Cody Duncan DOB: 12/14/1990 Jefferson, TX Offense: Prohibited Weapon. Sentence: 2/9/2016; Ten (10) years Institutional Division, TDCJ, suspended for 10 years community supervision. Pay $314.00 in court costs and a fine of $2,000.Defendant shall perform 240 hours of community service restitution at the rate of 20 hours per month, as directed by the community supervision officer. Defendant shall be evaluated for Cass County Drug Court. If eligible, defendant will enter and successfully complete the Cass County Drug Court and Aftercare program. If defendant is not accepted into the Cass County Drug Court Program then the defendant will be carried on the high risk substance abuse case load. Defendant is to comply with all conditions in the presentence investigation report (PSI).
