The Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting the 22nd Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt. The event will once again be held at the Daingerfield State Park. There will be four categories for children to hunt in this year. There will be a zero to three year old area, an area for four to seven year olds, and an area for eight to 12 year olds. There will also be a special area for those who are physically challenged. All eggs will be filled with candy and small prizes. Lucky children can also find special prize eggs, which can be exchanged at the pavilion for bigger prizes in their age category. Parents are encouraged to come early and bring their cameras for photos with the Easter Bunny. The hunt will begin at 10 a.m., and parents are reminded that there should be no hunting until the signal is given.
