Daingerfield baseball falls to Queen City on the diamond

The Daingerfield Tigers took to the diamond on Tuesday, March 15, hoping for a good start to their district schedule. Unfortunately, things did not go the way of the Tiger, as they fell to the Bulldogs, 11- 0.

Dalton Morgan took the mound for the Tigers, and pitched into the fifth inning before giving way to Jansen Laney. Between the two, they recorded six strikeouts. Morgan allowed three runs in four innings. Offensively, Laney and Derek Strickland ha base hits for the Tigers.

The Tigers play in Linden on Friday, March 18, and will welcome Paul Pewitt to town on Tuesday, March 22.
