The Daingerfield Tigers dropped two more games to district opponents in the past week, falling to Pewitt and Chapel Hill on the diamond.

The Tigers welcomed the Pewitt Brahmas to town on Tuesday, March 22. After tying the game in the third inning at 4-4, the Tigers would eventually fall in six innings, 14- 4. Jansen Laney, Dalton Morgan and two other Tiger pitchers combined for the loss.

Good Friday was not that good to the Tigers, as they fell to the Red Devils in six innings, 10-0. Although the Tigers threatened to score in the fourth, they could not push a run across. The Tigers were plagued by errors in both losses, leading to multiple runs for the opposition.

The Tigers will visit the Bulldogs of Queen City on April 8. The Tigers next home action will against the Chapel Hill Red Devils on April 11.
