Karate team wins tournament championship

Karate team wins tournament championship Students from the Killyon School of Isshin Ryu in Daingerfield participated inWarrior of God Martial Arts Championships in Gladewater on March 5.

Despite having one of the smaller representations present, the Killyon School, by virtue of the amount of events the students placed in, won the 2016 Team Championship.

The school is operated by Paula Killyon, and meets at the West Elementary gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
