April 1 and 2

Daingerfield FFA will be having the annual plant sales on the following dates and locations: Thursday March 24, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the greenhouse, Friday April 1, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the greenhouse, and on Saturday April 2, from 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in front of the high school.

April 2-5 Revival

There will be a revival in Avinger April 3-5 at 7 p.m. nightly. Saturday and Sunday will be held at Avinger United Methodist Church, and Monday and Tuesday will be at Harris Chapel United Methodist Church. The evangelist will be Mike L. Proctor, of Marshall, Arkansas. There will be a time of fellowship and refreshments following the services.

April 9 and 16 “Don’t Dirty Up Daingerfield”

The Daingerfield High School National Honor Society and the City of Daingerfield will combine their efforts to help clean up the town. There will be a large dumpster located behind Tiger Stadium, on Bert Street, where residents can bring old furniture, couches, chairs, tables, lamps, beds, mattresses, and old fences. These items can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and noon, April 9 and April 16.

April 21 Aggie Muster

Former students of Texas A&M will gather in Longview on April 21 for the annual Texas Aggie Muster. Reservations to attend Texas Aggie Muster held in Longview will be accepted through Friday, April 15.
