Tigers pull out win versus Mount Vernon

Over the past several weeks, the Daingerfield Tigers have been on the short side of several 10-run games. The Tigers broke that trend on March 29, with a 4-3 win over Mount Vernon at home.
Dalton Morgan picked up the win after pitching four-plus innings. Morgan registered eight strikeouts, and induced multiple fly outs from the purple Tigers. Morgan also walked and scored in the win.
The Tigers showed patience at the plate, drawing two walks and registering multiple hits after working the count full.
The Tigers will welcome the Hughes Springs Mustangs to town on April 5 for a 7 p.m. matchup. The Tigers will then travel to Queen City on April 8 for another district matchup.
