Dear Democrats I have a question, what will it take?

And by that I mean, exactly what would a candidate have to do wrong for you to not support them? And especially when it comes to criminal activity. The bar must be pretty high because let’s face it you folks will tolerate some pretty bad behavior. Donald Trump made a joke about saying even if he killed someone in New York his supporters would still vote for him and everyone went nuts. But I actually think a democrat candidate could theoretically be accused and charged with killing someone and no one would think twice about supporting them. So let’s look at a few examples of bad behavior being tolerated.

The president of the United States has repeatedly lied to us about a lot of things. He told us untruths to get his healthcare plan passed. None of what he said was true yet you hung right in there and supported his efforts. Millions of Americans are suffering with the consequences of Obamacare now with sky high premiums and outrageous deductibles, and there are still millions without coverage, but none of that mattered did it? He used the IRS to target a group of taxpayers that did nothing wrong. Their only crime was they did not agree with his philosophy and many were harassed and punished for practicing their free speech rights. But once again that didn’t seem to matter because you stuck by him and said whatever he did was Ok. He has violated the constitution of the United States more times than I can remember but still nothing seems to bother democrats. The four brave Americans who died in Benghazi have still not gotten justice for their deaths. The president lied to the families of those brave men, but once again it didn’t matter to you because it still wasn’t bad enough for you to say enough is enough. The president supports the killing of babies by Planned Parenthood with no reservations. He even supported partial birth abortion where the baby is partially delivered and then its spinal cord if severed with a pair of scissors. If someone did this to a puppy there would be outrage, but a child doesn’t seem to get the same consideration. But once again it’s no big deal right.

The current front-runner for the democrat nomination is another perfect example of how bad does it need to get before you say no way. Deep down inside, even the staunchest democrat knows by now that Hillary Clinton has done some really bad stuff. Mrs. Clinton is just as guilty or more for those deaths in Benghazi but she shrugs it off as if she was accused of getting a traffic ticket. Hillary Clinton has a long history of deception and destruction of documents that dates back to the 80’s but no one seems to think that is relevant for a potential presidential candidate. And her current email scandal is a lesson in privilege if ever there was one. She honestly believes that she is too big to go to jail. If any republican would have done one tenth of what Mrs. Clinton has done Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, and Loretta Lynch would have been screaming for their prosecution and a guaranteed prison sentence. But once again it just doesn’t seem to bother democrats that their leading candidate for the nomination is at the minimum dishonest and at worst a criminal. It just never seems to be bad enough for ya’ll to throw in the towel.

And then there is Bernie Sanders. Now as far as I know Bernie Sanders hasn’t done anything wrong (not yet at least) but it’s his ideology that is disturbing. This man is not bashful about admitting that he is an avowed socialist/communist. Anyone who has actually studied history should know that everywhere socialism has been tried it has failed. And the countries that are currently under a socialist form of government are in the process of c r a s hing. Look at Greece and Venezuela (both socialist countries, they are collapsing under their own stupidity. Their citizens are rioting in the streets, their economies have been destroyed, and yet we have people right here that think Bernie Sanders and his socialist ideas are a good thing. The scariest part of socialism is that most people don’t even know what is actually is. They just hear “free college” and “free healthcare” and that’s all they want to know about it. They care nothing about those who are successful in life and business being punished for their success and forced to give their hard earned money to those who do nothing to contribute to the system. Here are the 5 things socialism does. 1. It kills economic growth. 2. It stifles free speech. 3. It leads to an increasingly tyrannical government. 4. It creates strife and division. 5. Socialists believe the ends justify the means. You know, sort of what we are already experiencing with the current administration. It’s like Margaret Thatcher said, “The problem with Socialism is you eventually run out of other people’s money”.

Those are just a few examples of how democrats are willing to overlook bad ideas and even criminal behavior in order to vote for someone. But this is nothing new. Ted Kennedy actually started this phenomenon over 50 years ago. He actually killed a young lady in a car accident and left her to die and yet democrats elected and re-elected him to office for more almost 45 years. Clinton, Sanders, and Obama are just the latest examples of poor judgement and potential criminal behavior, buts it’s still not enough to make you say enough is enough. Isn’t it interesting how some can mistake bad ideas and criminal behavior for qualifications for public office? It’s no wonder we end up with such poor public servants.
