Woods finishes sixth at Regional UIL meet

Daingerfield High School student Jasmine Woods competed at the UIL Regional Academic Meet Saturday, April 23, at Tyler Junior College. Instructor Rita Singleton said, “Congratulations to her for winning a medal in Ready Writing. Ready Writing requires contestants to utilize a toolbox contained entirely in their minds. It is not a standard essay-writing scenario.” Woods was the sixth place finisher, out of 24 contestants.
