Two-Car accident injures multiple passengers

On the afternoon of Thursday, May 5, police and emergency medical crews were called to the scene of a two vehicle accident on Highway 11 at County Road 144.
Multiple passengers in a green Saturn Vue sport utility vehicle were transported to area hospitals in Pittsburg with undisclosed injuries. There did not seem to be any injuries to those riding in the Chevrolet pickup that was also involved in the accident.
Titus County Sherriff’s deputies assisted Texas State Trooper McKinney by offering traffic control during the investigation of the accident.
As of press time, more details were unavailable, and it was unknown as to whether either driver was cited in the wreck.
