We have got to take Islamic Terrorism seriously

In the wake of the Orlando Florida terror attack a few weeks ago, one thing is painfully clear; the United States is not taking this threat seriously.

First off, the president refuses to call it what it is: Radical Islamic Terrorism. Why that is so hard to do is beyond me. Many Americans have a theory as to why but we will save that for another column. Secondly he uses every opportunity he can to apologize to the Muslim community every time we have one of these attacks. And it’s not as if the facts are fuzzy or nonexistent in these cases. Every one of these terrorist attacks has been carried out by someone who is either of the Muslim faith or is acting in allegiance to ISIS. The same was true in Orlando. The shooter was a Muslim. He made references to ISIS during the attack and even spoke in Arabic during some of his conversations. He hollered “Allah Akbar” as he was killing innocent club goers. Now to the average person this is pretty simple to figure out right? Nope, not to this administration. Even with all of the evidence mentioned above pointing to the killers allegiance to ISIS the president went straight to gun control as the main reason for the attack.

He blamed the gun just as he has after nearly every one of these attacks. The Orlando shooter had been under FBI investigation three times in the past five years for terror related issues, and yet he was cleared by the FBI’s own background check to purchase the guns legally. Now what does that have to do with the guns themselves? Nothing. Then why the obsession with blaming these attacks on the guns?

Fact: more people have been killed in Chicago in the past two years than all of the terror attacks in the U.S. combined since this president took office. Why has President Obama not uttered one word about guns or gun control there? Good question. After all, he does claim Chicago as his home town. So why not show some concern for those deaths. Chicago has some of the most stringent gun control laws in the nation. And yet they lead the country in homicides. That shows you that the problem is not the lack of gun control laws.

Ok, back to terrorism. Radical Islamic Terrorists are here. Many of them have been allowed to travel to the U.S. with little or no scrutiny under the current administrations immigration policies. And after the Orlando attack what did the president do? He announced that they were going to speed up the process of bringing more Syrian refugees to the United States. In case anyone in this audience doesn’t know the majority of these Syrian refugees are Muslim. Now 99.9% of the terrorist attacks have been carried out by Muslim/Islamic attackers. If you know that all of these attacks were carried out by Muslims or individuals inspired by ISIS, why would you speed up the process to bring more of them here? Oh, it gets worse.

When the president started bringing Syrian refugees into the U.S., the Governor of Florida Rick Scott called the White House requesting information on the refugees they were sending to Florida. He was told that he could not have the information on the refugees being sent to Florida because they had privacy rights. Say what? Are you kidding me? It’s no wonder we cannot stop these attacks with this type of lunacy from the White House.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this situation is beyond serious. And so far the president of the United States seems completely uninterested in stopping this invasion and the attacks that have ensued. Judge Jeanine Pirro, Police Chief Randy Kennedy, and I have made the following plea to everyone who would listen. If you don’t own a gun, get one. Learn how to use it and get a permit to carry it. And after you do that, train with it on a regular basis. Why have we stressed this so much? Because it should be apparent to anyone with a brain that the president is either not capable of, or has no interest in protecting us against this Islamic Terror threat.

The war on terror is here and sadly these attacks will continue and many more Americans will die. But don’t worry your politically correct government is hard at work trying to come up with new gun control laws to keep you and I from getting a means to protect ourselves and our families. Meanwhile, Muslim/Islamic terrorists have been brought to our shores by the thousands with the permission and the blessing of the president of the United States. Gee, what could possibly go wrong here? Get serious about protecting yourself and your family, because your life could truly depend on it.
