Hughes Springs residents sentenced

Randal Lee, Criminal District Attorney, released the following information on Hughes Springs residents whose cases were disposed of in the County Court of Cass County September. Becky Wilbanks served as the presiding judge.

Lacy Bolden was sentenced on Sept. 28 to 45 days in county jail. Bolden was also ordered to pay $282 in court costs for her offense of theft of property, by check.

Jayce Lewis Hall was sentenced on Sept. 28 to six months deferred adjudication on charges of possession of marijuana. Hall was also ordered to pay $797 in fines and court costs, and complete 40 hours of community service. Hall must comply with random alcohol and drug testing, complete the drug offender’s education program, and submit to any Peace Officer’s request for samples for testing.
