LANGLEY
Rodney Glenn Langley was born Oct. 26, 1954 and died on Oct. 10. Rodney was a dedicated and beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He retired from General Motors, Shreveport, Louisiana in 2012 after almost 25 years of service. Rodney also worked as a selfemployed commercial pilot and flight instructor for a number of years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed both playing and watching golf as often as possible.
Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Langley; and brother, Robert Langley. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Taylor Langley of Hughes Springs; mother, Margaret Langley of Stanton, TX.; sister, Sonja Langley of Austin; aunt and uncle, Barbara and Doug Langley of Keene, TX.; aunt, Sandra Goldbeck of Keene, TX.; daughter, Tiffani and husband Eric Bohannon of Greenwood, TX.; sons, Dustin Langley and Shannon Langley of Memphis, TN; stepdaughters, Ginger Graham and Laurie Graham, both of Hughes Springs; 7 grandchildren; and great uncle, Leonard, “Jack” Brown and his wife, Margaret of Canton.
Services for Mr. Langley were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial followed at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
