Junior High Lady Tigers split with Red Lick

The Junior High Lady Tigers played Red Lick on Monday, Nov. 28.

The eighth grade team got their second win of district play with a score of 18-15. This was a tough battle and good defense was the key to the win. Joi Akinsuroju, scored 10 points for the Lady Tigers, while Breanna Durham, Quanesha Roberts, Kyasia Williams all scored eight points. Natalie Beasley, Neve Beasley, and Anna Lee also played for the Lady Tigers in the game.

The seventh grade team suffered their first district loss by a score of 30-16. Ashlyn Bruce came away with eight points, while Sanaa Fields and Za’Mya Wilbarger each scored four. Other members of the team were Alayah Alexander, Kyera Morgan, Anayah Ellison, Aalaysha Williams, Jazmin Mendez, Breana Williams, Journei Ferguson, Haley Lewis, and Genesis Allen.
