Lady Tigers fall at Liberty-Eylau
The Lady Tigers traveled to Liberty-Eylau on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
The junior varsity lost, 65-19. Although the score does not reflect it, the team played hard until the final minute, according to Coach Jana McGoldrick. Freshmen Jahkayla Daddy led her team with five points, seven rebounds, and three steals. TaQuasia Latchison and Jamie Nix both had four points while Jakia Neal and Demontisia Hendrix both added two points.
The varsity squad lost 69-19. Junior Kahleyia Johnson led the Lady Tigers with seven points, six rebounds and one assist. Junior Dee Hall added four points, three rebounds, and one steal. Sophomore Makayla Robinson had three points, and three rebounds, while freshmen Montrevia Durham and Kiara Robinson added two points each. Junior Mo Sok added one point with one steal, and freshmen Mikayla Roberson added seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
The Lady Tigers are 3-5 so far in the 2016-2017 season. Varsity competed in the Brownsboro Tournament Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 8- 10. District competition began Tuesday, Dec. 13.
