Services for Norman
Miller, 84 of Daingerfield,
were held at 11:00 a.m.
Monday at the
Daingerfield Church of
Christ with Brian Miller,
Gary Pendergrass and Tim
Gibbs officiating. Burial
followed in the
Daingerfield Cemetery.
Arrangements were under
the direction of Nail-
Haggard Funeral Home.
Norman was born on
June 16, 1932 in Summit,
Kentucky to Wesley and
Viola Miller.
He died on Thursday
Jan. 12, in Greenville.
Norman was Minister of
the Daingerfield Church
of Christ for 25 years
where he served and ministered
to the people of the
community he dearly
loved. He was born and
raised in Kentucky and
began preaching at 15
years of age. He also
preached in McComb and
Brookhaven, Mississippi.
Norman served as dean of
Academics at Southwest
Mississippi Community
College. He met his wife
and married Janiece
Kendrick in Shreveport in
1956.
Survived by his wife of
60 years Janiece Miller of
Daingerfield; son and
daughter-in-law
Brian and Leslie Miller of
College Station; daughter
and son-in-law Krista and
Gary Pendergrass of
Greenville; sister Kathleen
Wells of Elizabethtown,
Kentucky; grandchildren
Caleb Miller, Erin Miller,
Jeb Miller all of College
Station, Savannah
Pendergrass and Will
Pendergrass of Greenville;
niece Kay Mack of
Louisville, Kentucky;
nephew William Hart of
Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
