AVINGER -- Services for Oneta Ruth Holmes, 84, of Avinger, were held Aug. 7, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial followed at Jackson Cemetery in Avery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Ms. Holmes was born Feb. 17, 1933 and passed away Aug. 4.
