Board appoints replacement for Alcorn

DAINGERFIELD – The Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD met in their regular scheduled meeting on Aug. 21. At the meeting, the board filled their vacant position.

The At Large, Position 4 seat had been vacant since Mike Alcorn’s resignation from the board on June 19, 2017. Following the board’s closed session on Aug. 21, Vice President Jerry Stoermer made a motion to fill that open position by appointing Mike Cox.
