LONE STAR -- Services for Avalene Hatten, 74, of Lone Star were held Nov. 18 at Rock Island Non-Denominational Church with Rev. Willie Lee Chism officiating. Burial followed at Mount Pilgrim Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Hatten was born Sept. 12, 1943 in Cass County to Lorenzo Montgomery and Minnie Lee Montgomery. She died Nov. 13 at her home. An online guestbook may be signed at www.reeder-davis.com.
