Brabham signs National Letter of Intent to West Point

Loyalty. Duty. Respect. Selfless Service. Honor. Integrity. Personal Courage.

Those words are the creed of the Army solider. Those words also describe Hunter Brabham. The senior from Hughes Springs signed a letter of intent to play football at West Point, located in New York, and serve his country, on Dec. 20. Brabham was extended an offer to play football for Army in June by Kevin Corless. Coach Corless is the assistant football coach/inside linebackers coach for the Black Knights.

Brabham set a goal for himself over three years ago that he wanted to play football at the next level. He put in the work to make sure those dreams turned into reality. He could always be found at the fieldhouse working out or working in general. He has always been a person who would go out and make things happen, and never one to expect things without working for them. Whether it was mowing lawns in the summer or delivering fire wood in the winter, he learned and understood that to make things happen you have to believe in a good work ethic. No doubt those things were taught to him by his parents and grandparents.
