DAINFGERFIELD – The Daingerfield Lady Tigers outlasted New Boston on Jan. 18, 56-49, two days after the game was originally scheduled. The game was rescheduled twice due to snow and ice before the Lady Lions were finally able to visit Jesse Hanson gymnasium. The Lady Tigers took a one-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back, outscoring the visiting team in all but the third quarter. Daingerfield had a 25-18 lead at halftime, and despite being outscored in that quarter, 19-17, hung on for the key 14-3A matchup.
