DAINGERFIELD -- Services for Geraldine Turner, 92 of Daingerfield were Jan. 31, at Lilley’s Chapel Church of Christ with Kenny Shaver officiating. Burial followed in the Clark Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Geraldine was born on March 7, 1925 in Morris County to Clenton and Winnie Lou Nix and died on Friday, Jan. 26 in Hughes Springs. She was a member of Lilley’s Chapel Church of Christ. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond Turner, brothers Waple Dee Nix and Winford Nix, sisters Jean Bonds and Merleen Nix. She is survived by daughter Patty Traxler and husband Mike of Punta Banda, Mexico; son Jimmy Turner of Daingerfield; grandchildren Chris Traylor of Castro Valley, Ca.; Curtis and Monica Traylor of Daingerfield; and 3 great-grandchildren.
